Estes Park is one of the most popular destinations to visit in Colorado, and after guiding countless elopements, photographing micro weddings, and working at wedding venues all throughout the area, let me tell you about one of my absolute favorites: Romantic RiverSong Inn.

If you are looking for a wedding experience that feels genuinely stress-free, romantic, and fully immersed in nature without giving up comfort or thoughtful amenities, this place is truly something special. RiverSong makes intimate weddings and elopements feel like the ultimate mountain retreat for couples. Nothing feels overly formal or complicated. The entire experience feels relaxed, intentional, and centered around helping couples slow down, stay present, and actually enjoy their wedding day.
Their elopement and micro wedding packages are incredibly thoughtful and all-inclusive, which takes so much pressure off couples planning a Colorado mountain wedding. Depending on the package, couples can have an officiant provided for the ceremony, gorgeous florals, cake and champagne to celebrate afterward, and access to the cozy couples suite to relax together and soak in the experience. You can check out more about their wedding packages here.
And honestly… those little details make such a difference. Did I also, mention they are dog friendly?! So, YES you can have your fur baby at the ceremony and in your photos!

One of my favorite memories at RiverSong was photographing a couple who used the property as their home base before heading into Rocky Mountain National Park for adventurous portraits during our hike to Dream Lake. Before we left, the RiverSong team packed the couple a lunch full of goodies for the day, which was such a thoughtful touch and honestly so appreciated after hiking around the mountains in wedding attire all afternoon.

That experience perfectly sums up what I love about RiverSong. They genuinely care about creating an unforgettable experience for couples, not just hosting a wedding; and as someone who approaches photography the exact same way, I deeply value that. Like recognizes like.
I also absolutely adore that couples can blend a romantic riverside ceremony with an adventurous Colorado elopement experience all in one day. You can exchange vows beside the river, pop champagne afterward, enjoy cake and charcuterie together, and then head into RMNP for epic mountain portraits surrounded by alpine lakes and mountain views.

And because this is Estes Park, there’s also a very good chance you’ll spot elk wandering around the property during your wedding weekend. Which honestly feels like the most Colorado thing ever. Estes Park is basically known for its elk, (pretty sure it’s the town mascot)! Seeing them nearby always adds a little extra magic & excitement for couples visiting the mountains.

As a photographer, venues like RiverSong are such a dream because the atmosphere stays joyful and relaxed throughout the day. Couples aren’t rushing from place to place or stressing over logistics. They’re spending intentional time together, laughing, exploring, drinking champagne, hiking mountain trails, and fully soaking in the experience. Which always leads to the most meaningful moments that create the photos that you feel.
