Dillion Reservoir Micro Wedding

I just sent out these Lil’ Teasers today from this summer June micro wedding.

I was so pumped to be at this wedding. The bride and I used to bartend together years ago at Bar Louie and we always had a blast working together. We are both bubbly and killer bartenders and there was never a dull moment working together even if we were getting our butts kicked. So, when she reached out and scheduled her Discovery Call I was over the moon. I love full circle moments.

Here are some of the images they received as their sneak peak and cliff notes of their wedding day.

I met them at the AirBnb they rented for the weekend at the tail end of their getting ready process.

I added the Buzz Ball in the detail photos because it was telling the story of the drinking game they have been playing over the weekend. If someone throws the Buzz Ball and you attempt to catch it, you drink it. If you don’t attempt to drink it the person who threw it at you, drinks it.

After playing around with the details. I gave the dress back so the bride could finish getting ready for the first look.

After the first look we geared up to leave for the ceremony site at the banks of Dillion Reservoir.

The ceremony was short and sweet lead by their chosen officiant (aka bestie from back home), as they exchanged their personal vows and rings.

As in most weddings after the ceremony we conquer the family photos before we release them to do whatever (go back to the airbnb,) in this case as the brother prepared dinner for everyone.

Poppin’ champagne…but first the we open the one bottle brought just to shake it up and spray it in good ol’ party starting fashion.

love the red solo cup touch here!

we captured the formal and the goofy family and friend photos.

The original go with the flow plan was after photos at the ceremony site we would wander around to a nearby brewery or Sapphire Point. The road to Sapphire was closed and I listed off other option but they opted to go back to the AirBnb where their family and friends were getting cozy for dinner.

Outfit changes happened immediately and straight to playing a good game of pool!

Okay, we didn’t really play pool. We did it for the photos and kicked the family off their game for a little photo op before dinner.

bloopers and goofy moments are always added into your gallery to tell the fulllll story and to giggle and remember all the fun. Enjoy the Bride with the pitcher of pickle shots. She asked me if she should try and drink them like that and I said…hell ya! Get you someeeee!
